Tokyo Craftsmanship and Design Head to Taiwan Buy TOKYO to Exhibit at Creative Expo Taiwan 2026
TOKYO — Buy TOKYO, a project led by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to promote products and brands originating in Tokyo, will exhibit at Creative Expo Taiwan 2026 (2026臺灣文博會), to be held from August 6 (Thu.) to August 12 (Wed.), 2026, at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 in Taipei, Taiwan.
A total of 23 Tokyo-based companies will participate in the exhibition. The Buy TOKYO booth will feature and sell a diverse range of products created through Tokyo's craftsmanship and culture, including Edo Kiriko glassware, dolls, folding screens, rattan products, brushes, stationery, paper products, wooden goods, design goods and lifestyle products.
Through this exhibition, Buy TOKYO aims to introduce visitors in Taiwan to products and brands originating in Tokyo. The project also seeks to support participating companies in raising awareness of their brands and exploring business opportunities in the Taiwanese market through meetings with local buyers and distributors.
At the Buy TOKYO booth, visitors will be able to see and handle products from participating companies and experience their materials, textures and usability firsthand. Visitors will also have opportunities to speak with brand representatives and learn more about the ideas behind the products, their development stories and the craftsmanship that supports their creation. For buyers and distribution professionals, the booth will provide an opportunity to discover new products and brands from Tokyo.
