The key to creating the new bag was a design that balances the embroidery expression with the bag’s structure.
While bead embroidery creates unique expressions and a three-dimensional feel when it catches the light, its appearance changes significantly depending on the weight and placement of the materials. We finalized the form through repeated prototyping and adjustments to ensure that the appearance of the embroidery does not clash with the structure of the bag. Because slight differences in details, such as the density and placement of decorations, and the reflection of light that changes with the angle, dictate the overall impression, we conduct careful and repeated verifications.
