"Dharma Sweets" from the confectionery "Adachi-na（Japanese mustard spinach made by Adachi Ward, Tokyo ）"
The company "Crista," certified as an Adachi brand with their "Happy Daruma," has created a new sweets using the local industrial resource "Adachina(Japanese mustard spinach) " from the Adachi ward.
The new product is a Monaka(It is a Japanese sweets with a thin, crispy mochi shell filled with sweet red bean paste. It can also include fillings like ice cream or chocolate.) in the shape of a Daruma, leveraging the characteristic of the Daruma doll (representing resilience). The anko (sweet red bean paste) inside, serving as the weight, is a chocolate infused with "Adachina" extract, adding a unique feature.
The Monaka is made with 100% rice flour, and it features charming Daruma illustrations printed with food coloring.
The exact ratio of "Adachina" incorporated into the chocolate is a closely guarded trade secret, but it results in a rich and flavorful taste.
The product is named "Happy Daruma Adachina Chocolate Crunch."
"Crista" aims to create not only visually enjoyable treats but also sweets that fill you with a happy feeling when you eat them, aspiring to be a new Tokyo confectionery.
