The shop is equipped with self-serve sake dispensers that make the perfect pour into an ochoko (sake cup) with no wait.
Seasonal sake brewed in Tokyo join the regular rotation as limited-time menu options.
Summer-only sake offerings now include the refreshing Junmai-Nama-Genshu without filtration “Juemon” Jikagumi and Okunokami Junmai Nakadori Jikagumi Nama.
Among the many side dishes on the menu are Tofu Dengaku, grilled miso-brushed tofu skewers that have been a favorite since the Toshimaya Corporation’s establishment, made smaller with a milder miso finish for the modern palate.
