Reflecting Overseas Experience in Designs
In 2015, designer Shinya Kozuka launched the SHINYAKOZUKA brand, and in 2022 opened the brand's first directly-operated store, SMALL TRADES, in Tokyo's Minami-Aoyama area.
SHINYAKOZUKA explores the blurred lines between functionality, anonymity, expressiveness, and individuality in clothing. It produces fashion in a quest to create new value within versatility, refusing to be hemmed into specific categories.
The brand's focus is on creating a feeling of high-quality material texture and a minimal finish.
However, it doesn't just try to simply manufacture basic clothing. Instead, it produces a range of items that enable users to fully express their individuality through the unique identity of its fashion.
The fabrics used in SHINYAKOZUKA clothing are primarily made in the Bishu and Bizen regions, and the traditional Japanese techniques used in their production have been widely praised overseas.

Designer Shinya Kozuka is inspired by the clothing and scenery he has seen while living in London and Japan. SHINYAKOZUKA is a unisex brand whose concept is "Picturesque Scenery," using drawings and paintings that express the scenes in Kozuka's imagination to drive the design of its clothing collections.
